A LESSON

Dear friends,
I would like to share with you something I have read in a teachers’ magazine.It is part of Alexander’s the Great prayer. It is known as “The oath of Alexander the Great”..It was said by him in Opis (a town in Tiger river), in 324 BC , when his greek soldiers ,after being disaffected,didn’t want to go on the campaign into the inner of Asia.
The ever-lasting message of his words is very typical and it applies in our modern world,now the time of globalization.
After the passage there are some exercises suggested for use in class. I hope you and your students will enjoy it and be a motive to have further discussions about the reffered ideas about equality.
