Cooperation with Turkey

This week I got a very interesting letter from a Turkish teacher Halis who has offered cooperation to my students. It will be for the first time when we have a project with a country which is not a member of the EU. I think that it is very important to help the country which would like to join us. We must not be xenophobic and we'd better try learn more about unknown. My students are ready to learn more about Turkey and to exchange letters with the Turkish students. We will see what the cooperation will bring and I hope that it will not fail. It is always so frustrating to tell my students that the cooperation has finished. They are full of optimism and they are eager to learn more.
